Job Description

Job Description: We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented freshers to join our team as Procurement Specialists. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing software and hardware. You will maintain vendor relationships, onboard new vendors, and work closely with internal customers to understand their business requirements and product/service specifications to find the right vendors to fulfill these needs. Responsibilities: Handle procurement of hardware, software and general (indirect) purchases Understand the requirements and research and identify potential vendors Negotiate contract terms, agreements, and pricing with suppliers Perform sourcing activities, liaising with new and existing suppliers Maintain positive working relationships with strategic suppliers to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets Track orders and ensure timely delivery of purchased items Review the quality of purchased products to ensure they meet specifications Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices Prepare comprehensive reports on purchases, including cost analysis Stay informed about industry trends to make informed procurement decisions Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in science, computers or commerce Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools Excellent communication and negotiation skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Keen interest in technology and staying updated with industry trends Preferred Qualifications: Experience in mobile, laptop, hardware, and software procurement (internships or projects can be considered) Familiarity with procurement processes and vendor management Benefits: Opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Exposure to the latest technology and industry trends Professional growth and development opportunities About Mygate: Sparked by the idea that technology can make security more effective, Mygate began its journey in early 2016.
