Job Description
You are a Procurement Lead with 7-10 years of experience in sourcing infrastructure-related commodities. Your expertise lies in steel procurement including Structural steel, TMT, Puff panels, PPGL, GI, and exposure to GFRP (bars/mesh), Ceramic, Fiber, and CP. Your role is crucial in shaping the category sourcing strategy across India by effectively utilizing supplier and distributor networks. Your responsibilities include developing a category sourcing strategy for the mentioned commodities across all geographies in India, managing supplier/distributor ecosystem/networking, sourcing, negotiation, contract management, and vendor management. You should possess excellent communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders effectively. Your negotiation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills will be essential to build strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and marketplace aggregators on favorable terms, considering the nuances of a start-up environment. Strong analytical skills and a demonstrated track record in data analytics and market intelligence will be beneficial. Familiarity with ERP/Systems is required. Ideal candidates hold a B.Tech with 7-10 years of experience or an MBA with 5-7 years of experience from reputed colleges.
