Job Description

The Procurement Head MEP is a critical role responsible for overseeing the procurement of all MEP systems, including specialized equipment necessary for Clean Room operations, and other ancillary facilities within an OSAT / FAB factory. With 15-20 years of experience in leading MEP procurements for operationalizing OSAT / FAB facilities, the ideal candidate for this position will play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective completion of construction projects. The desired candidate should be well-versed with cleanroom specifications, protocols, design principles, standards, and maintenance systems. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement procurement strategies in line with construction timelines. - Identify and assess suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers capable of meeting construction requirements. - Build and nurture relationships with key suppliers and contractors. - Understand lead times for all MEP elements. - Evaluate the performance of suppliers and contractors. - Collaborate with project stakeholders to manage procurement budgets. - Generate regular reports on procurement activities, including cost projections. - Manage contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. - Create risk mitigation plans to minimize construction disruptions. - Predict service and product demand levels in the semiconductor industry, forecast price trends, and their impact on procurement activities. - Implement contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies to address unforeseen challenges. - Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements that may affect the business. - Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards. - Lead, manage, and inspire the procurement team. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred. - Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and MS Office Suite.
