Job Description

Experience - Very good understanding of Supplier Management and Procurement, with an overall industry experience of 3-5 years, minimum of 3 years experience procurement of electrical and electro-mechanical equipments. Education - Any Graduate Responsible for Sourcing, Procurement and Contract Management. Preparing, Issuing and Follow-up of Purchase Orders and Invoices with Suppliers and Clients. Regular liaising of suppliers, manufacturers, relevant departments and customers. Identifying new sources for the required components and equipments. Should be able to perform Cost comparative analysis. Derive Contracts, Terms and Conditions of a Contract and Purchase Agreements. Negotiate and agree contracts and monitoring their progress, checking the quality of service provided by the vendors or suppliers. Negotiate with vendors to secure the most advantageous terms. Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness. Conduct vendor evaluations/audits and process audits to ensure compliance with quality standards. Documentation and effective reporting. Comprehensive knowledge of engineering standards including BIS, IEC, BS, IS, IEEE, etc., as well as interpretation of electrical drawings, electrical schemes, and logic diagrams. Excellent communication skills and aspirations to excel. Should have experience in procurement, cost negotiation and supplier management. Should have technical understanding of Electrical, Electro-Mechanical and various other related components including their Usage, Specifications and Standards. Should have experience is product sourcing, product comparison and evaluation to arrive at an informed purchase decision. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Candidate should be comfortable working on strict timelines. Candidate should possess good Analytical skills and advanced knowledge in MS Excel and similar tools. Good Knowledge of Procurement Process and Activities. Good Knowledge of Contract Negotiation and Drafting. Have overall knowledge in Electrical concepts and various components involved, particularly related to Transmission and Solar Projects.
