As a Process Engineer at Lam in the Global Products Group, you will be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology, utilizing atomic precision, material science, and surface engineering to drive innovation in the semiconductor industry. Your responsibilities will include conducting research, development, and evaluation of semiconductor equipment and systems, enhancing processing techniques, developing new processes, and analyzing test data to drive process improvements. Your role will involve collaborating with internal teams to plan and execute customer demos, contribute to next-generation product development, and provide leadership and guidance to process technicians. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the success of our customers and making a significant impact on the semiconductor breakthroughs of the future. The ideal candidate for this position will hold a Master's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics with a minimum of 3 years of experience, or a PhD with equivalent qualifications. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with semiconductor equipment, statistical process control, scientific computing languages, and various deposition and etching techniques. Experience in a collaborative environment with diverse teams and semiconductor customers is highly valued.
