Job Description

As a Principal/Project Director, you are expected to have 9-12 years of experience in areas such as Risk-based internal audit, risk-based process reviews, continuous audit and monitoring, audit analytics, Internal audit setup and transformation, audit calendar development, audit scope preparation, audit work programs, and audit delivery and report preparation, including presentation to Audit Committees. Experience in the BFSI industry or consulting background is preferred. Your educational qualifications should include CA, ACCA, MBA, or any other relevant masters program. Additional certifications and qualifications may be required for this role. Long-term travel (6-12 months a year) and short-term travel (less than 4 months a year) are expected as part of this role. Key responsibilities include leading and managing independent projects throughout the Internal Audit lifecycle for financial institutions. This involves audit planning, defining scope, developing audit work programs, preparing checklists, leading audit execution, report preparation, and presenting findings to the Audit Committee. You will also be responsible for identifying risks, control frameworks, project planning, assessing key risks, engaging with clients, providing updates on audit plan execution, and highlighting findings for discussions with Audit Committees. Your role will involve demonstrating value to clients by developing and presenting audit dashboards and analytics, engaging with clients on closure of audit issues, and maintaining a continuous pipeline of engagement. Effective stakeholder management and project management skills are essential for success in this position. This position offers a global scope, requiring you to work with a diverse group of stakeholders, understand business risks, adapt to changing organizational priorities, and effectively communicate through report writing and presentations.
