Job Description

The Principal Integrations and Extend Analyst, as part of the Employee Services team, plays a pivotal role in enhancing business processes through the strategic use of Workday's Extend, integration, and reporting functionalities. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Extend applications, as well as creating and managing integrations between Workday and other systems to ensure accurate and seamless data exchange. Additionally, you will lead the development of complex reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to stakeholders across the organization. In your role, you will design, develop, configure, and test complex Workday reports (advanced, matrix, composite, BIRT) utilizing Workday Report Writer and Report Designer, as well as other tools. You will utilize Workday capabilities like Data Sources, Discovery Boards, Worksheets, Dashboards, and report scheduling to create automated and scalable reporting solutions. Moreover, you will develop, maintain, and deploy Workday integrations, such as EIBs, RaaS solutions, and cloud connectors, integrating various cloud products like Concur, SAP, SAC, Azure, Salesforce, and ServiceNow, while working closely with the business to bring on additional integrations. You will also design and implement web services using SOAP and REST protocols, consulting with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. As an expert in Workday Extend, you will lead and advise internal stakeholders through Workday Extend applications and the development lifecycle. You will work with internal stakeholders to translate business objectives into projects with clearly defined scope, timing, deliverables, resources, and key measures of success, while assessing the level of effort, risk, and impact of proposed design or optimization. Maintaining project plans, including timelines and milestones, you will effectively set and communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders. Furthermore, you will review and identify inefficiencies in business process flows, analyze processes, propose recommendations, document changes for change control purposes, and implement required process improvements. Providing application support and end-user guidance, you will research and resolve issues. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key responsibilities of the job. Strong knowledge of Workday integration tools, including Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, and Web Services is essential. Experience with XML, XSLT, and other data transformation technologies is required, along with familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and web services. Hands-on experience in developing Extend applications, experience in JSON, XML, SQL, JavaScript, and other application development is preferred. Power BI experience would be a plus. You should also have experience maintaining a high degree of discretion and sensitivity to confidential information, excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, strong organization, time management skills, and the ability to react to quickly changing priorities.,
