Job Description

You should have detailed knowledge of the Electrical discipline for various technical aspects of projects including electrical principles, codes and standards, distribution and power generation design, safety systems, protection and control, area classification, electrical studies and calculations, plant design and equipment layout, specification, evaluation, and procurement of equipment and materials. You will need to coordinate with suppliers through the procurement team, as well as with other disciplines when required. Additionally, you will review and approve supplier documentation, conduct factory acceptance testing, and provide construction and commissioning support. It is essential to be fully conversant with Company procedures, technical work practices, workings, and policies. You must stay up to date with the latest technological advancements and best practices within the electrical specialization. Continuous professional development is important, which includes attending technical training both within and outside the company. Qualifications required for this role include a Graduate degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Equivalent. You should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in Offshore projects, with more than 70% of the experience focused on Offshore projects. Experience in Offshore brownfield work and working as a Lead or Area Lead in Offshore Projects is necessary. Knowledge in Offshore Hazardous layout, depleted well fluid by Electrification, overall power demand calculation, and planning cable tray layouts are preferable for this role.
