Working within a diverse team of researchers, you will play a crucial role in driving projects to defined conclusions, with the aim of creating new and improved experiences in automobiles and consumer electronics. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement new technologies utilizing machine/deep learning for computer vision applications. - Design systems and algorithms that deliver breakthrough experiences, collaborating with the broader team to build proof-of-concept demonstration systems. - Evaluate existing technologies for market readiness through benchmarking and contribute to the transfer of new technologies to commercialization teams. - Produce reports, white papers, research papers, and patent applications. Qualifications for Success: - Possess a Master's degree in a relevant field such as electronics, computer science, or electrical engineering. - Have a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the industry. - Proficient in C++ and Python programming languages. - Strong conceptual understanding of image processing and computer vision. - Demonstrated knowledge of machine/deep learning algorithms and techniques for efficient computer vision applications. - Experience in porting and optimizing complex algorithms from Python to C++. - Familiarity with TensorFlow/Pytorch and relevant data science libraries, along with hardware knowledge. Preferred Qualifications: - Hold a Master's by Research or PhD degree. - Experience in authoring peer-reviewed publications and/or patents. - Understanding of computer architecture and accelerated computing (GPUs/NPUs/SoCs). - Proficiency in deploying and optimizing AI-based applications on embedded platforms like NVIDIA Jetson and Raspberry Pi.
