Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant, Vision Plus developer SCS We are seeking an experienced VisionPLUS Developer with strong expertise in the SCS (Settlement and Customer Service) module. The ideal candidate will be responsible for development, customization, and support of VisionPLUS applications, particularly focusing on settlement and customer service functions for credit card and financial services platforms Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and enhance applications in the VisionPLUS SCS module. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs. Write efficient and optimized code in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and associated VisionPLUS tools. Participate in end-to-end development from requirement analysis to deployment and support. Work on batch job configurations, data extraction, settlement file generation, and reconciliation processes. Collaborate with QA and testing teams to ensure bug-free, high-performance deliverables. Provide technical support and troubleshooting in production environments. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices. Assist in migration, upgrades, and integration with other systems/modules (CMS, FAS, TRAMS, etc.). Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications / Skills B.Tech/B.E/ MCA Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications/ Skills Proficient in COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and MVS. In-depth understanding of credit card lifecycle, settlement, and customer service workflows. Experience working with mainframe tools and utilities. Knowledge of VisionPLUS file structures, tables, exits, and subsystem interactions. Strong debugging and performance tuning skills. Ability to understand business logic and data mapping between modules. Experience with other VisionPLUS modules like CMS, FAS, or TRAMS. Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies. Familiarity with DevOps practices and version control tools (e.g., Git, SVN).
