You are an experienced consultant and have worked with various organizations and environments throughout your career. You are deeply motivated to improve, explore new technologies, and go the extra mile when necessary. You enjoy working with the latest technology, sharing knowledge, and collaborating with colleagues and great clients such as Ahold, ASML, Adevinta, dsm-firmenich, Sligro, NIBC, and ING.

The main role is an additional part-time responsibility alongside your regular work as a consultant. As a Principal Analytics Engineer, you will work closely with the other Principal Consultants to lead the Eindhoven office and be a people manager committed to promoting the happiness, growth, and development of our fellow analytics engineers. In addition, help guide and set up innovative projects that ensure we remain the front-runner in the field of Analytics Engineering. And you live near Eindhoven or within an hour's commute and enjoy collaborating with your colleagues to grow the Xebia Eindhoven office as one of the knowledge hubs of the Brainport region. And exciting news! We're moving to a new office in the heart of the city soon.

WHAT YOU WILL DO TO MAKE ORGANIZATIONS DATA-DRIVEN

The Analytics Engineer is the bridge between business and analytics. You understand what data can bring to the organization. With your effective communication skills, you help uncover business needs and how to support them with data, reporting, and visualization. You use software engineering best practices to write production-grade data pipelines, making high-quality data available for creating business value with analytics. You leverage modern tooling to model, test, and document data.

Your efforts enable data democratization by improving the reliability and accessibility of data products. As an Analytics Engineer, you play a vital role in empowering end users to make data-driven decisions.

As a Principal Analytics Engineer Consultant, you are responsible for implementing the foundations of data-intensive systems and modeling data to provide clean, accurate datasets so that different users within the company can work with them. You also coach fellow Eindhoven colleagues, organize events (like Meetups), and promote the AE cell inside and outside of Xebia Data.
