As a Pricing Manager specializing in Ocean Export, you will need to leverage your 5 to 15 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry to excel in this role. Your responsibilities will include setting and negotiating export prices, managing Full Container Load (FCL) shipments and nominated shipments, and demonstrating proficiency in regional shipping regulations and market conditions worldwide. With a proven track record of handling pricing rates for at least 200 containers, you will showcase your ability to manage large shipment volumes effectively. Your expertise in handling various commodities such as ODC Cargo, chemicals, and dry cargo will highlight your versatility in adapting to different types of shipments. Direct experience in negotiating pricing with major liners like Maersk, CMA CGM, Hapag-Lloyd, Ocean Network Express, etc., will demonstrate your strong negotiation skills and industry connections. Your technical skills should encompass excellent interpersonal abilities and good relationships/contacts with shipping lines. This full-time permanent position, based in Andheri, Mumbai, offers benefits such as health insurance, Provident Fund, and a yearly bonus. You will have fixed day shifts with 2nd Saturdays off and all other Saturdays as half-days. To qualify for this role, you should hold a graduate degree and have at least 5 years of experience in a similar capacity in the freight forwarding industry, specifically in ocean export pricing.
