As a Pricing Manager at our company, you will play a crucial role in the Freight Forwarding industry, focusing on Air, Ocean, and Road transportation. Located in Chennai, you are expected to have 5-10 years of experience in Pricing & Freight Operations, with a compensation package ranging from 6 LPA to 20 LPA based on your expertise and skills. Your responsibilities will include monitoring global market trends to make strategic pricing decisions, building strong relationships with carriers, NVOCCs, and overseas partners, negotiating competitive rates and terms across different transport modes, collaborating with sales teams to ensure pricing alignment with business goals, and working both independently and in cross-functional teams to meet tight deadlines. To excel in this role, you should possess in-depth knowledge of global trade lanes and regional freight dynamics, excellent negotiation skills with carrier networks and overseas agents, proficiency in freight management systems and Excel-based rate tools, the ability to handle multiple pricing requests under strict timelines, an analytical mindset with keen attention to detail, and regional experience in South markets.
