Job Description
JOB RESPONSIBILITY Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and propose effective technical solutions. Design and present end-to-end solution architectures using GIS, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), APIs, and location intelligence tools. Develop Proof of Concepts (PoCs), custom demos, and solution walkthroughs. Engage with clients to understand technical requirements and translate them into solution proposals. Work with internal teams to scope projects, estimate efforts, and define integration points. Conduct product demos, workshops, and technical deep-dives with stakeholders. Use tools like Postman to showcase API integrations and data flows. Maintain technical documentation, solution diagrams, and best practice guides. Provide feedback to product and engineering teams based on client interactions QUALIFICATION & SKILLSET 3+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or client-facing technical role. Solid experience with GIS platforms (e.g., PostGIS, QGIS, ArcGIS, Mapbox, or similar). Strong understanding of location intelligence, geospatial data, and mapping APIs. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for building and deploying solutions. Proficient in working with APIs designing, integrating, testing (via Postman or similar tools). Prior experience with coding/scripting (JavaScript, Python, or similar). Ability to craft technical presentations, demos, and solution documents. Strong communication skills with an ability to simplify complex concepts for varied audiences. Familiarity with modern web mapping libraries (e.g., Leaflet, DeckGL, MapLibre). Knowledge of data processing tools (e.g., FME, GDAL, ETL pipelines). Experience with analytics platforms or BI tools. Prior experience in enterprise or B2B SaaS environments.
