Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Practice Head Guidewire & InsurTech Solutions to lead and scale our insurance technology practice. This is a strategic leadership role with a mission to expand beyond Guidewire into next-gen AI-driven automation, cloud, and digital transformation solutions while growing the practice to 500+ professionals by 2030. The ideal candidate will bring deep Guidewire expertise while also driving the expansion into broader InsurTech solutions, helping BlitzenX establish itself as a leader in insurance innovation. Key Responsibilities Practice Growth & Innovation Scale the practice to 500+ professionals by 2030, leading expansion across insurance companies. Define and execute a technology roadmap that extends beyond Guidewire into AI, automation, cloud, and digital transformation. Build and drive the development of accelerators, frameworks, and best practices for InsurTech solutions. Foster partnerships with Guidewire, cloud providers, AI/automation vendors, and InsurTech startups. Recruit, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of architects, consultants, and engineers. Client & Business Development Engage with insurance carriers, C-level executives, and IT leaders to shape technology strategies. Lead RFP responses, solution presentations, and proposal development for key clients. Understand client pain points and design scalable, high-impact InsurTech solutions. Develop and execute a go-to-market (GTM) strategy for digital transformation in insurance. Technical Leadership & Delivery Excellence Define the technical vision for the Guidewire & InsurTech practice, ensuring alignment with business goals. Oversee solution architecture, system integration, and cloud adoption strategies. Drive AI, machine learning, and automation initiatives to improve insurance operations. Ensure high-quality delivery standards and best practices across all engagements. Stay ahead of industry trends and introduce emerging technologies into the practice. Qualifications & Experience 15+ years of experience in insurance technology, with deep expertise in Guidewire platforms (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, DataHub, Digital). Proven leadership experience in growing and managing large-scale technology practices. Strong understanding of AI, automation, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and digital transformation. Successful track record in pre-sales, RFP responses, and winning enterprise deals. Expertise in working with insurance carriers, system integrators, and technology partners.
