Job Title: Power BI Dashboard Designer Job Overview: We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Power BI Dashboard Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards that provide actionable insights and enhance decision-making processes. This role is focused on the aesthetic and functional design of dashboards, ensuring they are user-friendly, visually engaging, and aligned with business goals. Key Responsibilities: Dashboard Design and Development: Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards that are visually appealing and easy to navigate. Data Visualization: Translate complex data sets into clear, intuitive visualizations that drive business insights. Custom Visuals: Create custom visuals and components within Power BI to meet specific business needs. User-Centric Design: Focus on user experience, ensuring dashboards are accessible, user-friendly, and provide a seamless interaction experience. Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective dashboard designs. Performance Optimization: Optimize dashboards for performance and usability, ensuring quick load times and responsiveness. Brand Consistency: Maintain consistency with corporate branding and design standards across all dashboards. Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with Power BI updates, features, and best practices to continually enhance dashboard design and functionality. Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelors degree or a related field. Experience: Proven experience in designing and developing Power BI dashboards, with a strong portfolio of past projects. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and custom visuals. Knowledge of SQL and data modeling is a plus. Design Skills: Strong design skills, with an understanding of data visualization principles, user interface (UI) design, and user experience (UX) best practices. Analytical Thinking: Ability to understand and analyze data requirements, translating them into effective visual representations. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively convey design ideas and collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in dashboard design, ensuring high-quality output. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in business intelligence or data analytics roles.
