Role: PostgreSQL DBA Exp: 5-10yrs Location: Mumbai,Pune, Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore Notice Period: 0-45days only JD PostgreSQL DBA (L2 & L3) Database Administration Install, configure, and manage PostgreSQL databases (versions 11, 12, 13, 14, 15/All Versions) in production, staging, and development environments. Backup & Recovery Implement and manage backup, WAL archiving, and PITR (Point-In-Time Recovery) for data protection. Performance Tuning & Optimization Use EXPLAIN ANALYZE, tuning, and indexing strategies for query optimization. High Availability (HA) & Replication Configure and manage Streaming Replication, Logical Replication for HA clusters. Security & Compliance Manage roles, Implement SSL/TLS encryption, role-based access control (RBAC), auditing, and GDPR/security compliance. Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution Analyze logs, resolve deadlocks, replication lag, slow queries, and performance bottlenecks. Automation & Scripting Develop automation scripts using for maintenance and monitoring tasks. Database Design & Capacity Planning Support schema normalization, partitioning, and sharding for large-scale deployments. Patch Management & Version Upgrades Apply PostgreSQL minor/major version upgrades and security patches with minimal downtime. Cloud & Hybrid Database Management Manage PostgreSQL databases in on-premises/Cloud. Cross-Team Collaboration Work with developers, DevOps, and system administrators to optimize database performance and reliability.,
