Job Description
Are you a highly motivated individual with a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field Do you have a strong interest in the Microgrid and smart grid technologies If so, we invite you to apply for a Post-Doctoral fellow position in our Microgrid and Drives Research Lab. As a Post-Doctoral fellow in our lab, you will have the opportunity to work on research projects aimed at design and development Microgrid cluster, blockchain for smart microgrid/grid. You will collaborate with a team of experts in the field and have access to state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. Responsibilities: Conduct independent research in the field of Microgrid technologies (transition towards Smartgrid prototype) Inclined to Learn, Contrive and Develop various control algorithms for battery augmented 3kW Wind-Solar Rooftop renewable power system interfaced with WAVECT controller (Funded Project) Develop innovative solutions for improving the efficiency and reliability of electrical power systems Collaborate with other researchers and industry partners to advance in the field Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and disseminate research findings at conferences Requirements: Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field Strong background in power systems, control systems, renewable energy technologies and insight on optimization algorithms and implementation. Experience with smart grid technologies and renewable energy systems is an added merit.
