Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests to participate in recreation activities at the hotel. Your role is to promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests and provide them with information about available recreation facilities and activities. It is important to ensure guests are aware of the rules and regulations of the recreation facility to maintain their safety and welfare. As a Recreation Attendant, you will be responsible for observing activities in the recreational facility and responding appropriately in case of emergencies following local operating procedures. You should be vigilant for situations where guests may not be able to safely participate in an activity and promptly inform your supervisor or manager. Additionally, part of your duties will involve cleaning and maintaining recreational equipment and supplies to ensure a pleasant experience for guests. The preferred qualifications for this position include a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. No related work experience or supervisory experience is required. However, it is mandatory to possess certifications in CPR, First Aid, and any other certifications or training mandated by local and state agencies.
