Job Description
Job Description: Development and implementation of Siemens PLC, SCADA and HMI programmes. Understand existing PLC and SCADA programs. Experience HMI, SCADA, PLC and establishing communication. Possess a clear understanding of control systems with mechanical, electrical, and electronic components. Conduct system testing, and troubleshooting to ensure functionality. Provide technical support for installed control systems. Knowledge on Preventive and Predictive maintenances and calibration of control devices such as Load cells, flow meters, weigh scales and encoders etc. Promptly respond to system failures or malfunctions to minimize downtime. Create technical documentation including maintenance reports, test reports, and RCA/Incident reports. Providing commissioning support to the on going projects. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., safety codes, quality standards). Continuously monitoring the existing control systems and implementing the changes wherever required. Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in control engineering. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, supervisors, technicians, and project managers. Communicate issues and challenges effectively to clients. Skills & Qualifications: Diploma/Degree in Automation, Electronics & Communication, Mechatronics, Robotics, IT, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in PLC & Control systems, HMI, and SCADA software. Good knowledge on STL, SCL and FBD. Good knowledge on CPP Strong understanding of control theory, network topology, and instrumentation. Experience with industrial communication protocols (Profibus DP, ProfiNet, Serial Communications, Ethernet//IP, ASCII and ASi etc,.) Problem-solving skills and ability to analyse complex systems. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
