Job Description: As a member of the NPD Department - EV & HEV at TVS Motor Company's Hosur Plant in Tamil Nadu, India, you will play a crucial role in delivering new products, upgrades, and refreshes while meeting QCD targets and gate adherence. Your responsibilities will include integrated project planning, execution, monitoring, and control to ensure the successful completion of projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project KPIs, resolve conflicts, and deploy target cost and quality-RDML targets at both system and part levels. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing management reports, escalating issues for resolution, and managing stakeholders from various functions such as R&D COC, Quality, Production Engineering, Supply Chain, Software Development, Marketing, and Service. Project budgeting, resource estimation, planning, and control will also be part of your role, along with adopting digital dashboards for project QCD status and transparency. To excel in this role, you should possess educational qualifications such as BE/BTech/MTech from Premium & Tier 1 - Colleges. Your functional competencies should include a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and industry best practices, as well as knowledge of EV product technology, power electronics, electrical system integration software, and connected technology. You should also be well-versed in product and manufacturing processes, supply chain management, project planning, and problem-solving methodologies such as Six Sigma Black/Green Belt certification. Risk analysis, mitigation, and conflict management skills are essential for success in this role. In terms of behavioral competencies, you should demonstrate basic communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, interpersonal effectiveness, personal leadership, rigor in job completion, customer-centric focus, and effective time management.
