We are seeking an experienced and motivated Hands-On Platform Engineering Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and automation, with proven leadership skills. As a Platform Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools that enable our engineering teams to deliver high-quality software efficiently. Responsibilities: Build, Lead and mentor a team of platform engineers, providing hands-on development, guidance and support. Envision, Establish and Lead the development of an Internal Development Platform (IDP) to support engineering teams within cloud-native enterprises. Develop and manage the automation of CI/CD pipelines to support the software delivery process. Develop and manage the automation of Application and Team onboarding. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues. Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and best practices within the team. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Platform Engineer or similar role. Strong knowledge of cloud computing (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Strong knowledge of networking and protocol analyzer tooling. (Wireshark, TCP dump, CloudShark) Proficiency in programming, scripting and automation tools (e.g., Java, Python, Bash). Experience with IaaC,Containerization and Orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform). Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). Experience with SCM, CI and CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Spinnaker). Experience with Relational and NoSql Databases,
