As a Platform Engineer specializing in digital expertise at Astellas, you play a vital role in driving our digital initiatives within our agile organization. Your responsibilities as a Platform Engineer revolve around the end-to-end management of market access and pricing related applications in the commercial space. You will act as a system owner and liaison between the business and third-party vendors in developing, deploying, and integrating software platforms that support our business processes and operations. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and a deep understanding of relevant platforms to optimize them for supporting business goals, enhancing efficiency, and driving growth. You will be at the forefront of implementing innovative solutions and working with cutting-edge technologies in your field. Key Responsibilities: - Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of project goals, requirements, and constraints. - Products Roadmaps: Collaborate with stakeholders to define the strategy and roadmaps for systems within your scope. - Business Requirements Analysis: Work with business stakeholders and Business Analysts to analyze processes, workflows, and define requirements for solutions. - Technical Specification Development: Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications guiding the development of software applications. - Solution Design and Recommendation: Collaborate with development teams to design solutions aligning with business needs. - Test Planning and Execution: Develop test strategies, plans, and execute tests to ensure continuous integration and deployment readiness. - Defect Management: Identify, log, and track defects, and work closely with the development team to resolve issues. - Compliance: Coordinate with the Compliance team to ensure adherence to Software Development Lifecycle standards. - Project Management Support: Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking project progress. - Training and Support: Develop training materials and provide support to users on new systems or applications. - Innovation and Creativity: Propose creative solutions to complex technical challenges. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5 years of experience as a platform/system owner in a life science company. - Demonstrated experience in business analysis, technical analysis, Test Planning, Test Execution, and Defects Management. - Strong analytical skills, experience in SDLC best practices, Agile methodology, DevOps, CI/CD principles, and technical knowledge. - Excellent communication skills, collaboration abilities, attention to detail, and adaptability. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in Market Access and Pricing domain and related systems. - Certifications in Agile delivery methodologies. - Adherence to DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
