Job Title: Product Architect Platform Engineering Location: Pune (Onsite Preferred) Baner Department: Product & Engineering Experience: 8 years (8 years of experience in software engineering, with 3+ years in an architectural leadership role). Office time 9.30am to 6.30pm 5 days working, no Hybrid Role Overview As a Product Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our modern, enterprise-grade software platform into a secure, scalable, and modular product suite. Working at the intersection of product vision and engineering execution, you will define architecture that enables extensibility, performance, and cloud-native readiness. This role is ideal for experienced professionals who blend deep technical expertise with strategic product thinking and a user-centric mindset. Individual contributor Role Key Responsibilities Define and evolve the core architecture for a cloud-enabled, modular, and multi-tenant platform. Architect scalable, service-oriented components with runtime configuration and API-based integration. Establish best practices for security, performance, observability, and maintainability across the platform. Lead adoption of DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and modern engineering patterns. Collaborate closely with product managers, design, engineering, and DevOps to align technical design with business goals. Design for feature modularity and extensibility (e.g., plugin-based enablement, feature toggles). Guide architectural decision-making through proof-of-concepts (PoCs) and hands-on technical validation. Contribute to technical documentation, architecture roadmaps, and cross-squad engineering governance. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and bring innovative solutions to platform evolution. Required Qualifications Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Certifications in cloud architecture, DevSecOps, or enterprise security Proven expertise in: Microservices or modular architecture RESTful API design Cloud-enablement technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, task queues) Experience with Hyperscaler marketplaces (AWS, Azure, GCP) Runtime configuration and deployment automation Hands-on with Python/Django, JavaScript/Angular, or equivalent tech stacks. Sound knowledge of DevOps practices, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD workflows. Strong understanding of distributed systems, backend design, and service orchestration.
