Job Description
You will be responsible for monitoring batch processing, handling manpower, and overseeing day-to-day production processes in a chemical manufacturing plant. Your role will involve ensuring safety activities during production, managing shift operations, troubleshooting issues, and solving problems to maintain workflow efficiency. As a Shift Operations Manager, you will supervise and oversee the daily operations of the production process during your assigned shift. It will be your responsibility to ensure that all production targets are met while maintaining quality standards. You will be expected to address any issues or breakdowns promptly and take corrective actions to minimize downtime. Quality control is a key aspect of this role, and you will need to ensure that production processes adhere to quality standards. In case of deviations, you will be required to take corrective measures to meet quality parameters. Additionally, you will be overseeing the inspection and testing of finished products to maintain quality assurance. To be considered for this position, you should have a BSc and/or Diploma in Chemical Engineering with relevant experience in the dyes, pigment, or chemical industry.
