Job Description

You will be responsible for cost management, including preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects, developing bills of quantities (BOQ), managing project budgets, evaluating variations and claims, preparing client bills and invoices, maintaining financial records, and monitoring project expenditures. You will also be expected to identify cost-saving opportunities. In addition, you will play a key role in planning and scheduling by developing and managing project schedules, preparing preliminary estimates, monitoring project progress, and coordinating with various teams for successful project execution. Other responsibilities will include preparing tender documents and contracts, conducting site inspections, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and building codes, liaising with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, providing project updates to management, and utilizing software such as AutoCAD, Primavera, or MS Project for planning and cost management. To excel in this role, you should possess a strong knowledge of construction practices, proficiency in quantity surveying and cost estimation techniques, experience in project planning and scheduling software, excellent communication and negotiation skills, the ability to analyze project data effectively, and proficiency in relevant software tools like AutoCAD, Primavera, or MS Project. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Jogeshwari, Mumbai, in the chemical manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will hold a B.E. (Civil) or Diploma (Civil) qualification with 8 to 10 years of relevant experience. The salary package ranges from 9 LPA to 12 LPA, with benefits such as health insurance, paid sick time, paid time off, and provident fund. The job requires working 6 days a week in a day shift, with an age limit of 35-40 years. Local candidates from Mumbai will be preferred.,
