You are an accomplished Photonics Optical Alignment Engineering Lead who will be responsible for developing and implementing optical alignment procedures for silicon photonics devices such as silicon dies, laser diodes, optical modulators, and photodiodes. You will work closely with the global SME and R&D team to create new products and optimize the optical alignment process to achieve high yields and dependability. Your role will involve leading optical alignment efforts for free space and fiber optics, ensuring precision and accuracy in alignment processes. You will also mentor and guide junior engineers in optical alignment techniques, collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot alignment-related issues, and stay updated with industry trends in optical alignment technology. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related field, with a preference for a Master's degree. You should have at least 7 years of experience in optical alignment engineering, with expertise in in-house developed systems or off-the-shelf optical alignment systems. Additionally, you should have 5 years of experience in statistical engineering and familiarity with parametric optimization activities. Strong leadership skills, analytical abilities, attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment are essential for this role.,
