Job Title

Pharmacist / Clinical Pharmacist (Pharmist JD)

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense Medications: Accurately fill prescriptions, interpret physician orders, ensure proper dosage, labeling, and packaging  .
• Verify Safety: Review for drug interactions, contraindications, allergies, and legal compliance .
• Patient Counseling: Educate patients on medication usage, side effects, storage, and adherence  .
• Clinical Judgment: Recommend alternative therapies, non-prescription options, and clinical advice .
• Health Services & Screenings: Administer immunizations and conduct basic health screenings like BP, temperature, or glucose checks  .
• Inventory Management: Maintain stock levels, remove expired products, and report shortages  .
• Record & Compliance Management: Keep patient histories and controlled substance logs; adhere to regulations (FDA, DEA, local health boards) .
• Team Leadership: Supervise pharmacy technicians and interns; train and develop staff  .
• Professional Development: Stay updated on clinical guidelines, attend conferences, and collaborate with healthcare teams  .
