As a Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) specializing in Political Science, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to postgraduate students. You should possess a Master's degree or higher in Political Science or a related field, along with a B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification. Previous teaching experience at the postgraduate level is preferred for this role. Your role will involve developing and implementing a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with CBSE Board guidelines, fostering an inclusive learning environment, and assessing student learning through various methods such as tests, quizzes, and projects. You should have a deep understanding of Political Science concepts, theories, and methodologies, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance, provide constructive feedback to support academic growth, and communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress. Collaboration with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and staying updated on current events and political developments in Political Science are also key aspects of this position.
