EDUCATION: - B.E/B.TECH/M.TECH GRADUATION/POST GRADUATION IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING/AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING JOB TITLE: - TEAM MEMBER FUNCTIONAL REPORTING: - GROUP LEAD / Team Lead JOB ROLE: - Design & Development of Dashboard (I/P)/ Console and other interior automotive parts Design & Development of Automotive interiors decorative parts, soft touch interior parts. Countermeasure planning, as necessary, based on Design/ Quality Reviews. Benchmarking perceived Quality: Perceived Quality benchmarking of competitor including Exterior and Interior for the vehicle. Setting PQ targets and providing solutions to enhance vehicle perceived quality during new model development, considering cost and weight optimization. Set up a qualitative and quantitative process for PQ evaluation of the vehicle. REQUIRMENTS: - Able to work/ lead the CFT and monitor PQ, with design and engineering for enhancing perceived quality in new model development. Good understanding of judgement parameters for complete perceived quality evaluation of a car. Understand and analyze the PQ details in section finalization for improving fit and finish throughout the vehicle. Understanding on touch and feel is desirable. To have great interpersonal skills to get the work done from other engineering departments/ styling department. Car driving preferred. Should be quite good in CAD software e.g. UGNX Should be technically well versed with systems/sub-systems of the vehicle, packaging strategy, occupant packaging strategy. Strong analytical skills, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint etc. Ability to understand the Engineering requests and deliver as per the expectations.,
