Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dynamic System Admin to join our team. Required The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating system-related issues, network management and restrictions, Active Directory user and policy management, firewall rules and audits, endpoint engine management, disk encryption management, antivirus management, asset management, vendor management, and required : This role requires at least 6 years of experience and the ability to manage various aspects of IT infrastructure efficiently. Additional expertise in CCTV, hardware, and VOIP is a Roles and Responsibilities : Operating System Management : - Address and resolve OS-related issues across various platforms (Windows, Linux, macOS). - Ensure OS updates and patches are applied timely to all systems. Network Management and Restrictions : - Oversee network operations, ensuring optimal performance and security. - Implement and manage network restrictions to maintain data security and compliance. Active Directory User Management : - Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions within Active Directory. - Implement and enforce policies for user access and security. AD Policy Management : - Develop, implement, and maintain Group Policies within Active Directory. - Ensure policies are aligned with organizational security requirements and compliance standards. Firewall Rules and Audits : - Design, implement, and manage firewall rules to safeguard network traffic. - Conduct regular firewall audits to ensure compliance and identify potential vulnerabilities. Firewall Monitoring Concepts : - Develop and maintain strong firewall monitoring practices at the user level. - Monitor firewall activity to detect and respond to potential threats promptly. Endpoint Engine Management : - Manage endpoint security solutions to protect against malware, viruses, and other threats. - Ensure endpoint engines are updated and functioning correctly across all devices. Disk Encryption Management : - Implement and manage disk encryption solutions to protect sensitive data. - Ensure encryption policies are adhered to and regularly audited for compliance. Antivirus Management : - Oversee the deployment and management of antivirus solutions. - Ensure antivirus software is updated, and systems are regularly scanned. Asset Management : - Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets. - Track asset lifecycle from procurement to disposal. Vendor Management : - Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers. - Evaluate and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective solutions. Procurement Management : - Oversee the procurement of IT equipment and software. - Ensure compliance with procurement policies and budget Required : Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT management roles. Strong expertise in OS, network, Active Directory, firewall, endpoint, disk encryption, antivirus, asset, vendor, and procurement management.
