Job Description
As a PDI Incharge at Chinnan Automobile, located in Ollur, Thrissur, you will be responsible for managing the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) process to ensure that vehicles meet both company and customer standards. Your duties will include inspecting new vehicles for defects, damages, or missing accessories before delivery, as well as conducting road tests to verify vehicle performance when necessary. In addition, you will be in charge of monitoring and maintaining the inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts needed for inspections, and ensuring the timely replenishment of PDI-related materials. To qualify for this role, you should have a Diploma/ITI in Automobile Engineering or a related field, along with 1-2 years of experience in vehicle inspection, servicing, or quality control. Strong technical knowledge of automobiles and inspection processes is essential, as well as good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools and PDI checklists would be an advantage. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including health insurance and Provident Fund. The work schedule is during the day shift, and there is a performance bonus opportunity. Previous experience with PDI is preferred, and the work location is in person.,
