Job Description
Soldering electronic components onto PCBs following industry standards and best practices.
Perform visual inspection and testing of PCBs to ensure proper soldering and functionality.
Use various soldering techniques (e.g., hand soldering, reflow soldering, wave soldering) to assemble and repair PCBs.
Ensure correct placement and alignment of components on the PCB using appropriate tools and equipment.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve any issues or defects in the PCB assembly process.
Troubleshoot and repair defective PCBs when necessary.
Document work completed, including time logs and defect reports, in accordance with company procedures.
Maintain and calibrate soldering equipment to ensure peak performance.
Adhere to all relevant quality control procedures to maintain product standards.
Continuously improve soldering techniques to ensure high-quality output.
