Job Description

We are seeking a Patient Co-ordination Centre Coordinator to become a valuable member of our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating all administrative tasks related to patient referrals from NHS Boards, Independent Sector sites, and Elective Centres throughout Scotland. This includes managing the scheduling of patient hospital appointments and admissions. Additionally, you will oversee the coordination of patient pre-operative assessment clinics, ward admissions, theatre procedures, and diagnostic/interventional cardiology procedures. The ideal candidate for this position must have extensive prior experience in a healthcare setting and a deep understanding of Treatment Time Guarantee guidelines. Excellent communication skills, a strong focus on customer care, and exceptional organizational abilities are also essential for success in this role. This position supports a 7-day work schedule, requiring you to work 5 days out of 7.
