Job Description
The main responsibility of this role is to maintain smooth plant operations by adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standard Operating Conditions (SOCs). You will be required to check process parameters according to the schedule and keep track of chemicals and utility consumption. Monitoring trends of critical parameters is essential to detect any potential abnormalities, and you must promptly notify the shift in-charge (shift superintendent) for necessary corrective actions. Coordinating system shutdowns and start-ups through panel operations and effective communication with the field personnel is a key aspect of this role. It is important to follow the guidelines provided by the shift superintendent through Shift Team Meetings or OMPRO instructions to improve plant operations continuously. Constant monitoring of the panel for any significant changes in operating parameters, alarms, etc., is crucial. Whenever a deviation is observed, you must take immediate corrective actions. It is also essential to address the reasons for deviations in OMPRO and document the corrective measures taken. Maintaining detailed written records of key parameter changes, events, actions taken, and necessary follow-ups in the operating log (OL) is a part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you should have the ability to access relevant and updated data and PT documentation from various locations such as ReIMS, Q, P drives as needed.,
