Job Description
As a Palo Alto L2 Support(Network Security Engineer) based in Noida Sector-135, you will be responsible for providing support and maintaining Palo Alto Networks products (NGFW, Panorama, etc.). With at least 2 years of hands-on experience, you should possess a solid understanding of network protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, IPsec, SSL, NAT, DHCP, and DNS. Your role will involve handling day-to-day firewall operations, policy management, and troubleshooting tasks. In this position, you will be expected to be familiar with security concepts such as IDS/IPS, URL filtering, threat prevention, and VPNs. Your strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills will be essential for effectively addressing network security issues. Additionally, your ability to read and analyze logs using CLI and GUI tools will be crucial for monitoring and maintaining network security. As a Palo Alto L2 Engineer, you should be prepared to work in shifts or participate in on-call rotations as required. Your responsibilities will include firewall configuration, security governance, implementation, migration, and working with Panorama. Knowledge of network protocols like MPLS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, as well as certifications such as CCNA and CCNP, will be beneficial in this role.
