Job Description

• Clean and sand vehicle surfaces to remove imperfections and prepare them for painting.
• Apply primer to ensure proper adhesion of paint and to protect against rust and corrosion.
• Mask off areas not being painted to prevent overspray.
• Mix paint to match the vehicles original color or custom colors as needed.
• Use spray guns and other equipment to apply paint evenly and efficiently.
• Apply multiple layers of paint and clear coat to achieve the desired finish.
• Use color-matching tools and techniques to ensure that the new paint matches the existing color of the vehicle.
• Blend the new paint with existing paint to achieve a seamless appearance.
• Sand and polish the painted surface to remove imperfections and achieve a high-gloss finish.
• Inspect the painted surface for defects such as runs, drips, or uneven coverage and correct as necessary.
• Conduct thorough inspections of the painted areas to ensure they meet dealership and industry standards.
• Perform touch-ups or additional repairs as needed to ensure a flawless finish.
• Work closely with body technicians, parts departments, and other team members to ensure efficient workflow.
• Coordinate with insurance adjusters for claims and repair approvals when necessary.
