As a skilled OS Engineer at Viraaj HR Solutions, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing OS solutions for network forwarding systems. Your responsibilities will include monitoring performance, optimizing network traffic, debugging OS forwarding functionalities, and collaborating with the engineering team for system architecture design. It will be your duty to maintain system security, document configurations, conduct system reviews, and provide technical support to junior engineers. Your qualifications should include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with proven experience in OS engineering and network management. A strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, Linux-based operating systems, and virtualization tools like VMware or KVM is essential. You should also have proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash, experience with cloud services like AWS or Azure, and knowledge of security mechanisms and best practices. In this role, you will need excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, the ability to work both independently and in a team environment, and strong documentation and reporting capabilities. Your communication skills should be effective for technical and non-technical audiences, and you should be detail-oriented with a focus on quality outcomes.
