Job Description for Oracle Technical Consultant: Position Description: This individual is primarily responsible for Oracle Financials, Purchasing, and related module solutions. It should be highly financed and process-oriented. The individual should be able to work with business teams, Oracle developers, database administrators, business analysts, Oracle Middleware teams, etc. Essential Functions: --Highly business process oriented. You should be able to lead business conversations to understand business pain points and process automation opportunities as a lead business analyst. --Excellent working Knowledge of EBS R12.1+ and EBS 12.2+ versions --Lead Requirement Gathering sessions. Perform Fit-Gap analysis. --Work with Oracle Support for knowledge and issue resolution --Support reconciliation between sub-ledgers and General Ledger. --Create test scripts, lead, and perform system testing. Support user acceptance testing and go live. --Assure adherence to all IT controls and maintain alignment with IT Strategies --Manage application life cycles including release planning (enhancement/upgrade), maintenance (bug fix and routine patching) --Manage small to mid-size projects --Perform other duties as assigned or requested Qualifications and Experience: -- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred. -- 5+ years of experience as a Technical/Functional consultant in Oracle Applications 11i/R12. --Expert in Oracle GL, AP, AR, FA, PO, CM, INV, OM, Oracle Manufacturing modules (Must) --Good working knowledge of RICEW, OBIEE reports, OAF Reports, XML Publisher, Toad & SQL. --Good knowledge of AME and workflow. --Expert in application support including problem analysis and resolution --Able to work as a liaison between the business community and technical teams --Possesses excellent problem-solving and communication skills (written and verbal) --Knows how to use TOAD or other SQL tools to write simple queries to validate data and support end users. --Capable of working in a fast-paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment. --Should be able to work independently under minimal supervision Location: Remote.
