The Service Delivery Engineer (SDE) is an expert member of the engineering team and is highly skilled in the domain technology, product and underlying stack. SDE is responsible for solving extremely complex, critical customer issues. The SDE acts in the role of a Subject Matter Expert and is sought by customers and Oracle employees to provide expert technical advice. The SDE is highly customer centric, demonstrates proactive approach and drives initiatives to delight customer and contribute to organization's growth. The SDE is result-oriented and performs the assigned duties with a high level of autonomy and commitment and provides period updates to management.

Job Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve highly complex and critical issues requiring expert technical knowledge in OPA Author/OPA Developer areas.
- Act as a consultant for customers to provide technical and functional expertise, know-how and guidance throughout various life cycle stages (design, deployment, migration, implementation, upgrade, patching, go-live, etc)
- Lead triage activities along with customer and internal stakeholders (engineering, product support, product management)
- Expert in advanced Oracle Policy Automation(OPA) rule design and implementation.Lead problem solving and maintaining collaboration among the development, OPA team the Customer
- Root Cause Analysis and presentation
- Establish resolution action plan (patch application, configuration changes, work-around) and assist customer in test and implementation
- Work with the customer and internal stakeholders to establish, track and execute service delivery plans
- Escalation Management - Interface with customer and internal stakeholder to manage escalations and lead resolution
- Research product technical, functional and domain technology related areas and conduct knowledge transfer sessions for internal stakeholders and customers
- Manage SR queues and work with team members to jointly resolve issues
- Perform assessments (functional, business process, technical, configuration, performance)
- Contribute to after-hours support in a combination of shifts, on-call. (There are no regular night shifts)
- Execute or provide stand-by assistance for maintenance window interventions
Qualification
- Engineering or Science graduate (B.E., M.E., MCA) or equivalent with strong academic credentials
- Candidate should have minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience on Oracle Policy Automation.
Skills Requirement
- Should be able to understand the current OPA rules and design new OPA rules.
- Integration knowledge between OPA and other 3rd party system (Ex: BRM)
- 6 years of software development experience in Oracle Policy Automation and Oracle ADF.
- Hands on Experience with both Oracle Policy Automation On Premise and Cloud version.
- Exposure to usage of OPA in various sectors such as Public Sector, Insurance, Health Care, Telecom etc.
- Experience in OPA: Rule Authoring, Interview design, Interview Styles, Interview flows, Batch Processor, Custom function, Rule modelling, Integration with Oracle service cloud and other technologies using web service connector, rulebase testing and deployment, What-If Analysis, customizing Web-Determinations screen using CSS and Velocity Templates.
- Strong Techno-Functional knowledge of OPA with both as standalone and integrated with other Oracle Tools /Applications such as Oracle Web Center Portal (ADF), Siebel CRM, Oracle BI Publisher etc.
- Experience in Oracle ADF: ADF bounded and unbounded taskflows, ADF security, ADF BC, ADF UI, Custom Components, Oracle TopLink and SQL queries.
- Designing Technical Documents
- Well versed with entire development life cycle and facilitating Agile practices.
- OPA Trainer - Experience of Training multiple teams in OPA and Guiding Individuals for Building up Resources that can take the Challenges of handling major OPA tasks.
- Working as requirement elicitor and system analyst in my current jobs.
- Trained in Business Analysis skills through internal courses in previous organization.
- Adept at building strong working relationships with co-workers and management.Excellent communication skills along with customer management experience
- Providing resolution to critical production issues.
- Flexibility and ability to learn new tools and technology rapidly
