Job Description

As an OIM Consultant, you will be responsible for the installation and configuration of Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) for identity management purposes. This includes configuring OIM features for user management and governance such as user life cycle management and role-based access controls. You will also be involved in installing and configuring both out-of-the-box (OOTB) connectors as well as creating and configuring custom connectors. Your role will also involve configuring policies for role-based access controls, access certifications, and OIM Self Service. Additionally, you will be responsible for the configuration and maintenance of trusted and target recon jobs, custom tasks, event scheduler configurations, and scheduling, as well as custom notifications and approval workflows. In this position, you will configure custom and OOTB audit reports and automated report deliveries. You will work extensively with OIM connectors for various systems including Microsoft Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft Exchange, LDAP directories, Microsoft SharePoint Online, Oracle EBS, EPM using asserters, and Oracle Fusion applications such as HCM, CX, and EPM. Having strong analytical and troubleshooting skills is essential as you will collaborate with internal and customer stakeholders to resolve application problems and perform Root Cause Analysis. Proficiency in Java, Web Services (SOAP & REST), Database concepts, and SQL is required. You will also need to stay updated with industry developments and guide project teams to adhere to Oracle and industry best practices. Furthermore, you should have a good understanding of operating and deploying services in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Monitoring and maintenance tasks, including setting up and responding to standardized alerts, performing regular log analysis, and monitoring and maintaining systems to identify any issues, will be part of your responsibilities. Developing documentation for assigned projects, including installation guides, troubleshooting guides, and run books, is a key aspect of your role. You should possess excellent technical design and architecture skills, particularly in creating designs for OIM. Strong communication skills are crucial, as you will need to effectively communicate with team members and clients verbally and in writing, and present ideas in various ways depending on the audience and context. Additionally, active listening and documentation skills are essential for this role.,
