Job Description
Role Overview We are looking for a highly experienced Functional Solution Architect Oracle Financials to lead and design end-to-end financial business processes using Oracle ERP (Cloud and/or E-Business Suite). You will act as the strategic bridge between finance business leaders and technical teams, ensuring that Oracle solutions align with business objectives and industry best practices. Key Responsibilities Own the functional architecture of Oracle Financials modules including GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Tax, and SLA. Lead client workshops to gather requirements and define future-state finance processes. Translate business needs into scalable, fit-for-purpose Oracle ERP solutions. Create and validate functional designs, process flows, solution blueprints, and configuration documents. Serve as the subject matter expert on Oracle Financials, providing guidance on system capabilities, limitations, and best practices. Support the configuration, testing (SIT, UAT), and deployment phases of the implementation. Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and technical leads to ensure successful solution delivery. Drive functional discussions with C-level stakeholders and finance leadership. Provide thought leadership in finance transformation, shared services models, and Oracle Cloud adoption. Requirements Required Skills & Experience 10+ years of functional experience in Oracle Financials, including 2+ Oracle Cloud implementations. Proven expertise in modules such as: GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Tax, and SLA Experience leading finance transformation or ERP upgrade projects. Strong communication skills to work across business and IT stakeholders. Functional understanding of integration points with Procurement, Projects, and HCM. Hands-on experience with configuration, documentation, and test scenario preparation.,
