Key Responsibilities of an Oracle Database Developer** Database Design and Development Design and develop relational database schemas, tables, views, indexes, and constraints. Analyze data requirements and translate them into database structures. Create ER diagrams and normalize data models. PL/SQL Programming Develop stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers using PL/SQL. Write scripts to automate business processes or data transformations. Optimize PL/SQL code for performance and maintainability. Data Integration and ETL Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data. Integrate Oracle databases with other applications and systems. Work with tools like Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or custom scripts. Reporting and Query Development Create complex SQL queries and reports for business users. Support the development of dashboards or BI tools with backend data logic. Assist in ad hoc data analysis and query performance tuning. Performance Tuning Analyze and optimize slow-performing SQL queries. Review execution plans and apply indexing or partitioning strategies. Collaborate with DBAs to address system performance bottlenecks. Database Maintenance and Support Participate in database migrations, upgrades, and version control. Debug and resolve issues related to stored procedures or data logic. Ensure data consistency and accuracy across systems. Advanced/Optional Responsibilities Use Oracle APEX or other tools to develop web-based interfaces. Develop RESTful web services using Oracle ORDS. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for database deployments.,
