Job Description
The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced Oracle DBA who will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing Oracle databases that support SAAS platforms. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the 24/7 availability and performance of production instances serving global energy operations. Additionally, you will be in charge of supporting database connectivity for Java EE application stack running on EC2 infrastructure within an AWS environment. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor, maintain, and optimize Oracle databases supporting SAAS platforms. - Ensure 24/7 availability and performance of production instances serving global energy operations. - Support database connectivity for Java EE application stack running on EC2 infrastructure. Experience Required: - Extensive Oracle DBA experience with hands-on production database management. - Strong Oracle performance tuning skills including query optimization, indexing strategies, and resource management. - Experience with Java applications and databases. - AWS cloud database experience, preferably with RDS, Aurora, or Oracle on EC2. This role offers the flexibility of being fully remote with occasional travel opportunities.,
