Job Description

You will be responsible for dispensing accurate prescriptions and fitting spectacles, contact lenses, and other optical aids. This includes performing refraction, diagnosing customers" needs, and providing advice on lens types, frames, styling, contact lens fitting and care, as well as the use of low vision aids. Additionally, you will be involved in adjustments and repairs to spectacles as required. Managing inventory of lenses and optical products will be a key part of your role. You will also be responsible for providing qualitative and quantitative reports to management on sales, stock levels, and customer feedback to support decision-making processes. As part of quality control measures, you will ensure the accuracy of eye measurements and regularly audit the fitment and dispensing techniques of Opticians. In cases requiring higher consultation, you will act as the point of escalation for Opticians.,
