Job Description
The role of Technical Support Associate at House of EdTech based in Kolkata involves various responsibilities including coordinating and managing live webinars, providing real-time technical support for audio, video, or connectivity issues, maintaining accurate attendance and feedback records, auditing webinar quality, troubleshooting software, platform, and connectivity issues, responding to participant queries via email and chat, updating and managing participant databases, attendance, and feedback logs, ensuring data accuracy and generating reports, staying updated on educational technology trends, suggesting and implementing workflow improvements, participating in training and upskilling initiatives, and collaborating with teams to resolve discrepancies. The ideal candidate for this position should possess strong written and verbal communication skills in English, proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets and MS Word/Google Docs, problem-solving skills especially in technical troubleshooting, a basic knowledge of SQL, APIs, or AI concepts (preferred but not mandatory), and prior experience in operations or data management (preferred but not mandatory). A bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Applications, or Technology is required for this role. In addition to the technical skills, the candidate must have a personal laptop and be open to a full-time work-from-office role in Salt Lake, Kolkata. The candidate should also be willing to work flexible hours if required during webinars or special events.
