Job Description
As the Operation Manager at Sci-Fi Playhouse, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the end-to-end operations of the entertainment centre. You are expected to be a highly accountable, target-driven, and leadership-oriented individual capable of managing various aspects such as cash handling, staff, sales partners, customer satisfaction, queue management, and operational efficiency. Acting as a bridge between management and employees, your role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations while upholding the highest standards of customer experience. In terms of financial and revenue management, you will be tasked with overseeing revenue generation from different streams including entry tickets, machine sales, caf sales, event bookings, merchandise, and memberships. It will be essential to monitor gross profit margins, operating expenses, and cash flow to maintain financial stability. Additionally, you will need to recommend cost management strategies such as inventory control, energy efficiency, and marketing ROI analysis. Your role will also involve managing daily operations to ensure the smooth functioning of ticketing, merchandise sales, and food services. Implementing queue and peak-hour management systems to enhance visitor experience, monitoring facility utilization, and ensuring maintenance schedules are followed to reduce equipment downtime will be key responsibilities. Tracking and reporting on operational metrics like footfall analysis, peak-hour performance, and member vs. non-member engagement will also be part of your duties. In terms of customer experience and complaint resolution, you will need to maintain Google reviews and service quality ratings, set up structured complaint analysis, and ensure the implementation of zero-tolerance policies for misbehavior to maintain a safe and family-friendly environment. Collaborating with the marketing team to track social media growth, overseeing sales performance, analyzing conversion rates, and monitoring competitor activities to stay competitive are additional tasks related to marketing and sales performance. Furthermore, you will be responsible for leading and training blue-collar staff, monitoring staff attendance, training completion, productivity metrics, and customer feedback to ensure high service standards. Managing vendor performance to meet cost, quality, and service expectations, tracking incentive earnings and KPIs for team motivation, and performance improvement will also be part of your role.
