Job Title: Office Assistant Location: My Zaveri Bazaar, Vepery, Chennai Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Office Assistant to support the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks that ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day functioning of the office. Key Responsibilities: Administrative Support: Assist with general office tasks, including answering phones, and greeting visitors. Document Management: Organize and maintain files, records, and documentation, ensuring that information is easily accessible. Supplies Management: Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory; place orders when necessary. Support Teams: Provide administrative support to various departments as needed. Filing: Maintain physical filing systems, ensuring all files are up-to-date and properly archived. Customer Service: Provide basic customer service support by addressing inquiries or directing them to the appropriate departments. Administrative Assistance: Assist in the photocopying, scanning, and filing of documents as needed. Handle minor clerical tasks such as delivering documents within the showroom or to nearby locations. Ensure that office supplies like stationery and cleaning materials are adequately stocked. Help in the arrangement and organization of inventory and supplies in storage areas. Support with the packaging of jewellery for customers, ensuring the process is smooth and efficient. Report any maintenance issues, such as electrical or plumbing problems, to the relevant personnel promptly. Handle minor clerical tasks such as delivering documents within the showroom or to nearby locations. Ensure that office supplies like stationery and cleaning materials are adequately stocked. Miscellaneous: Perform other related duties as assigned by the Management. Skills: Good communication skills with basic proficiency in Tamil and English. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with attention to detail. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods. Capable of lifting and moving light to moderate-weight items.
