COMPANY NAME- 8th Day Cafe & Bakery JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION TITLE Administrative Assistant LOCATION All Kolkata outlets DIRECTLY REPORTS TO Director of Operations STATUS Full-Time, Salaried; Permanent position after 3-month probation period KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Recruitment and Onboarding in collaboration with Director of Operations Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and job specifications Manage the full recruitment cycle: job postings, screenings, interviewing and onboarding Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires including orientation and documentation Maintaining employee records and updating employee databases Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements including PF and ESIC staff enrolments Policy Formulation and Implementation Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and organizational goals Communicate policies effectively to all employees and ensure consistent application across the organization Designing & implementing the performance management system, ensuring it aligns with company goals and legal compliance Employee Relations and Conflict Management Serve as a point of contact for employee queries related to policies Conduct investigation into employee complaints and recommend appropriate actions REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS: Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity Basic knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance Must be able to work on weekends and six days a week Need to focus on all our outlets across Kolkata Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher Benefits: Flexible schedule Schedule: Rotational shift Work Location: In person,
