Job Description
NOC Engineer L1
Key Responsibilities
- Administration and management of technical operations) in support of Cisco, Fortinet, and HP network infrastructure (Routing, and Switching).
- Network Monitoring using tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, Cacti, What-s Up etc.
- Handling tickets raised by customers related to Network issues / VPN issue etc.
- Understanding customer-s network and solving network related issues within SLA.
- Implements changes to Network infrastructure to correct errors or enhance functionality.
- Develops processes for improving operational efficiencies, as well as identifies/implements automation process/tools for existing NOC manual processes.
- Vendor management for Data Centre Network, MPLS networks etc.
- Maintaining the Links SLA for DC network, LAN/WLAN network, WAN network and reporting the SLA performance report at the time of clearing the tax invoice to Service providers.
- Arrange for monthly review meetings with Vendors for SLA tracking.
- Need to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly network tasks handled such as the backup of Network device, Upgrading the IOS, Latency reports, weekly Backups etc.
- Monitor and Ensuring the Data Center Infra working fine and coordinating with vendors for repairs of HVAC or other network related issues.
- Prepares technical reports, memoranda, and instructional manuals as documentation of network design and operational requirements.
- Ready to work in 24 by 7 shifts including holidays.

Qualification Details
Essential Qualification: Employers prefer to hire candidates having Engineering Graduate with 1-2 years relevant experience
Preferred Qualification: Engineering Graduate with 1-2 years relevant experience
Experience Details
Essential Experience: 1 to 2 years of Relevant experience of NOC handling monitoring and management of Network infrastructure of Fertigate UTM Firewalls, Cisco Switches, wireless network etc
Preferred Experience: Knowledge of ITIL practices Knowledge of for Passive cabling network.
Special Skill
Essential : CCNA /FortiGate Certification / ITIL v3 Foundation (Information Technology Infrastructure Library).
Preferred : - Certifications in CCNA/NSE would be an added advantage.
